Bruce A. Edwards

Bruce A. Edwards brings over 35 years of alternative dispute resolution experience to Signature Resolution as a mediator, arbitrator, and special master.
He has resolved hundreds of construction, engineering and construction defects matters, insurance coverage and bad faith disputes, torts, multi-district litigation, employment law, and class action cases. As a Special Master, he has been appointed on a number of significant construction cases involving public works projects, high-rise hotels, large condominium developments and single-family home construction.
Edwards graduated from law school in 1981 and began working for Sedgwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold in San Francisco as a litigation partner. Early in his career, he realized that resolving disputes through litigation did not address the root causes of conflict and often further polarized those involved. He began experimenting with bringing people together in unscripted ways to talk about conflict, drawing on his educational background in both law and psychology. The results achieved from these unconventional interventions provided both an epiphany and an inspiration that ultimately lead to the business of mediation in commercial litigation.

Arnie Levinson

Arnie Levinson has resolved over 1,000 cases involving insurance- related matters as a full-time mediator. Mr. Levinson is one of the few professionals nationwide with extensive litigation and ADR experience with insurance coverage.
During his 38 years as a coverage and bad faith insurance attorney, he was routinely involved in shaping state legislation in insurance law and filed numerous briefs on a variety of major issues in the California and United States Supreme Courts.
Throughout his career, he focused on representing a wide variety of parties in a wide range of insurance and bad faith disputes. Arnie was respected and became well-known as one of the leading insurance litigators in the state.

Kirk Pasich

Kirk Pasich has 35 years of experience and a reputation as a leader in the insurance coverage and bad faith industry Mr. Pasich has overseen matters covering a wide range of insurance–related disputes, including bodily injury, class actions, earthquakes, employment, explosions, floods, foreign losses, fraud schemes, hurricanes, mass shootings, natural gas leaks, product tampering, and wildfires, among others.
In addition to his robust insurance practice, Mr. Pasich also has handled substantial commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract, fiduciary duty and fraud claims, construction disputes, idea submission and copyright infringement claims, entertainment-related claims, professional malpractice claims, real estate disputes, and tax issues. Throughout his career, he has participated in hundreds of mediations, trials, and arbitrations and more than 50 appellate proceedings.

James J. Leonard

Jim Leonard is a trusted business adviser, formidable litigator, and seasoned insurance professional who has committed his career to creating dispute resolution strategies that positioned his clients to succeed in instances where vital coverage was denied. He brings over 40 years of experience to his new role as Signature Resolution mediator.
After decades of representing policyholders and working in-house for insurance companies, Leonard is well-versed in the financial and emotional impact of a coverage dispute.
